彩② — Colour II

彩 means colour, expression and vivid nuance. In calligraphy this effect can arise from black ink alone — through density, movement, paper and rhythm.

This second 彩 work by Takemura Chikako is a one-of-a-kind piece in its own right. It relates to 彩①, yet has its own balance of form, trace and open space.
